Interactive Presentations

 

 Whether it is the teacher or the student sharing their knowledge and understanding, presenting information is a cornerstone of any classroom.  Make presentations come alive by making them interactive!

With Nearpod, you can deliver your presentation to any device that has internet access.  You can control which slide everyone is viewing or let them view at their own pace.

 

You can insert a variety of interactive slides including audio, video, questions (open ended, poll, mc. drawing), weblinks, and even llive TwitterStreams!

 

You can view the results immediately and/or download reports from the whole class or individual students later.

EdPuzzle allows you to add interactive questions to your own video or videos found on a wide variety of websites (YouTube, Khan Academy, Learn Zillion, Ted...) If you use Chrome browser, add this extention to make it even easier.

 

You can:

  • crop the video

  • record over the voice on the video,

  • add voice comments at designated points of the video, 

  • Add questions at designated points of the video.

  • Hyperlink to or embed the video on your own webpage.

  • Lock the video so students cannot fast-forward.

  • See analytics of how your students responded.

  • You can grade open-ended answers immediately or later.

 

Immediate feedback is given to students on whether their answers are correct.  You can create classes and monitor your student responses if students login with student accounts. Students do NOT have to have an email to create an account.

 

 

Sophia allows you to curate content of a wide variety of digital files and resources from the internet or your own computer.

 

You can include videos, hyperlinks, interactive images, interactive quizlet flashcards, questions, screencasts, powerpoints, pdf files, google forms, or any widget with an embed code (i.e. voki, educannon, educreations, etc.)

You can embed the whole collection on your webpage or hyperlink to it.

OR you can create a class and have your students join.  You and your students can add presentations to the class.

Track stats about number of views, comments, and quiz results.
