When will students access your digital content?
During Class
Class Rotation
Two or more stations are created in which students can rotate between.
Station ideas:
-
small group of direct instruction with the teacher
-
students work independently on mobile devices or computers
-
students work independently using paper, pencil, books, etc.
-
students work in small groups on digital or traditional activities
Independent Work
Students work independently on mobile devices or computers while the teacher circulates helping those who need help.
DIfferentiated Groups
Students are grouped according to their readiness, learning profile or interests.
The content, product, and/or process may be modified for the different groups.
Examples:
-
Two or more activities are tiered based on student readiness.
All or part of the activities can be digital which enables the
teacher to go from group to group to provide scaffolding or
"just-in-time" help for students. Students can be working
in groups or independently on these activities.
-
Students are given the choice of demonstrating their knowledge and understanding using a variety of products--some of which may be digital products.
-
All students may be completing the same basic activity, but may be gathering their knowledge in different ways (i.e. reading or listening to text, watching a video, participating in a forum discussion, etc.)
Outside of Class
At Home
